33 Books on love for every mood: from erotica to sweet and emotional romance to transformative books on self-love and respect!
A poignant forbidden romance packed with some classic romance tropes: married in Vegas, grumpy Hero, employee-boss relationship and a second chance romance. The novel is riddled with angst and sweet moments and explores what it means to find The One at the exact wrong time and a Hero who will do all he can to win his girl back. Unfortunately, the plot suffers from dumb misunderstanding/mistake-syndrome which detracted from my enjoyment of the novel.
Two books read (both from my Up Next shelf), three new books I want to read, including a nonfiction novel that delineates the LGBT+ world-wide rights movement and analyzes its impact, a moving fictional story that explores familial relationships and the desire to belong and an entertaining nonfiction book about the highs and lows of dating, and one new book releasing this week!
Seven books read (one from my Up Next shelf and one DNF), three new books I want to read, including a winner of the JCB Prize (an Indian literature award), a novel in verse, destigmatizing periods and a memoir on the intersections of sexuality, immigration status and the Muslim religion and three books releasing this week!
