The Weekly Wrap: July 20th to July 26th

T

I’ve decided to start doing a weekly, monthly and yearly wrap up/review of my reading habits. I have so many books I want to read that I’ve purchased and still need to read, books I need to investigate and books I want to review. I also only review two books a week on my blog, which is not indicative of how many books I’m reading during the week.

Hopefully, by doing this weekly and monthly wrap, I’ll be able to expose more readers to some excellent books!

Weekly Review

Last Week’s Reviews: On Feminism

Last week’s reviews were thematically linked by feminism. My next review will also discuss feminism but from an academic perspective.

My Reading Progress

I typically buy hardcopy books in bulk which has resulted in quite a few books falling through the cracks over the years. I’ve also been organizing my Kindle recently and have come across 300+ books I’ve purchased (or found for free) that I have not yet read! So, my Up Next shelf on Goodreads is comprised of all the books I own that I need to read. My Unread shelf, comparatively, includes books I own that I don’t think I’ll read.

I want to keep track of my progress because I’ve already spent the money on these books. Currently, my Up Next list is 148 books long… but there are a bunch of goodies on it so I’m excited!
