February Reflection and Into March

I am a chaotic mood reader so, of course, I had the largest TBR list for February despite it being the shortest month in the year 😂. February was also the busiest month for me concerning all my school work. But being the stress reader I am, I managed to read more books in February than in January, and managed to read seven of the 11 books in my February TBR list.

However, February was a bit disappointing in that I fell four books short of completing the BCB Winter Reading BINGO challenge. I left too many books to the end of the month and had too many deadlines at the same time to do another binge read. In an effort to keep this monthly hopeful TBR fun – and to be kind to me – I’ve decided to not roll over uncompleted books. I’m embracing my mood reading, so if I don’t get to it, there’s always another month!

My most and least favourite books of the month both came down to feminism. You can read the details in my linked corresponding reviews but I’ve noticed whether or not an author takes a feminist approach when writing romance is usually an indicator of what books get chosen as my most and least favourite of the month.

My March Hopefuls

I’ve created another ambitious TBR for March comprised of nine books (four less than February’s TBR). I’m starting BCB (@book.club.bitches) Spring Reading BINGO Challenge and some of the books on my March TBR also fit its prompts. I have quite a few hefty books on this list so it’s TBD if I get around to finishing them all. Although, I would like to finally knock House of Blood and Earth by Sarah J. Maas off my Up Next Shelf since it’s been sitting there since its release in 2020.

Anticipated March Releases
